For Southwest Airlines, the manual process of exchanging incident records with their tier-1 service provider threatened to ground their plans for closing out ITSM issues in a timely manner. With the take-off of their new integration solution, Southwest now has the continuous automation that they need for today and the scalability that they’ll need for tomorrow.
Paypal, the giant of online payments, needed to transfer ITSM data to a database without the performance impacts of a high-maintenance, web-services integration. Paypal enlisted Perspectium to integrate ServiceNow with Oracle Database, allowing Paypal to bank on a scalable integration for future growth.
Providing and managing the distribution of electricity, National Grid UK left swivel-chair integration and powered up to an automated integration solution for DevOps. Initially using Perspectium to plug ServiceNow into IBM IMI and Jira, National Grid UK can now onboard suppliers in an accelerated, consistent, and scalable manner.
Foot Locker’s service provider, CDW, faced the choice of building a pricey, custom integration or calling Perspectium. On the heels of several other successful integrations, CDW started e-bonding ITSM incidents with Foot Locker, giving the sportswear retailer head-to-toe visibility into its incidents without adding performance stress to the ITSM solution.
Absa bank, a financial services provider, implemented ServiceNow to support ITSM-related services. Integrating ServiceNow with a database, Absa can report on data with advanced capabilities and without performance impacts to the ServiceNow instance.

In a recent customer webinar, Paul Liesse of CDW explained their pursuit of low-coding, real-time, truly automated integrations. CDW now uses their scalable integration solution to help ensure accurate data, a hands-off approach for CDW delivery staff, and high visibility for customers into their environments.
