As an Associate QA Engineer, you will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve issues to meet quality standards. In this position, you will schedule and performs appropriate testing; submit errors and issues to development for correction, and retest once errors have been corrected following established procedures. The ideal candidate will create test plans, develop, conduct and debug tests (manual and automated), track quality assurance metrics and work closely with developers to ensure we deliver high quality solutions to our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Develop automated test cases using Selenium and other best practice methodologies and tools.
  • Execute test cases and test scripts to discover defects.
  • Assess test results, report and resolve defects.
  • Act as a key member and regularly participate and interact as part of a cross-functional product development team of all backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Interest in, understanding of, or experience with agile development methodologies and participate in scrum teams for product delivery.
  • Provide support for our customers. Including direct interaction with customers and real time problem solving.
  • Performs other duties as required.


  • 0-2 years related experience in software quality assurance testing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related/equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in a programming language(s), preferably Java
  • Proficiency in a scripting language(s), preferably JavaScript
  • Proficiency in Relational Database systems, preferably MySQL
  • Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (i.e. design patterns, data structures, etc.)
  • Open to being challenged and willing to continuously learn and improve
  • Interest in, understanding of, or experience with agile development methodologies
  • Great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, and designing/implementing solutions to complex issues
  • Meticulous in completing tasks on schedule, with high quality, and with attention to detail
  • Team player with strong technical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Open to being challenged and willing to continuously learn and improve
