Perspectium is seeking an Implementation Engineer for leading the successful implementation of our Software as a Service (SaaS) products and solutions. This is a technical role where the candidate will work closely with our customers.


The successful candidate will be based out of our San Diego office. At times the candidate will be working with customers in multiple time zones so some schedule flexibility is required. Minimal travel to on-site customer locations may be required.

Due to COVID-19, this position is currently working remotely and following CDC and local guidelines to ensure safety of all our employees; however, you will need to be located in San Diego as you will be working in the office once the San Diego office safely reopens.

  • Engage with customers from contract-signing to successfully implementing their Perspectium solution to go live.
  • Fully understand customer processes, workflows and requirements.
  • Communicate functionality and technical concepts to technical users.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and solve complex process and technology-related problems during the implementation phase through methodologies that rely on best practice as much as creative thinking.
  • Engage with a variety of stakeholders within each customer organization to ensure buy-in at all levels.
  • Install, configure and implement Perspectium products and solutions in customer environments with light coding in JavaScript.
  • Work with Project Manager to manage customer and internal resources to drive toward project milestones and overall project execution.
  • Clearly communicate the status of all projects, issues with implementation and solutions
  • Be able to implement and support multiple projects at the same time.
  • Assess client’s product demands, develops project plans and ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for other implementation engineers on best practices for Perspectium solutions and industry standards.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, working with Development, Support and Operations, to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the Perspectium brand in all customer interactions, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and world-class service our customers have come to expect.


  • 2+ years experience in a similar role, demonstrating successful implementation of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions with customers that have gone live in their production environments.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, etc) or equivalent professional work experience.
  • ServiceNow experience required. ITIL certification a plus.
  • JavaScript coding experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to write SQL queries.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS Platforms with a good understanding of technologies such as Jira, Salesforce or Remedy preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industry integration technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.
  • Experience working with Web Service solutions, including RESTful and SOAP.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient, working directly with customers to troubleshoot and solve issues.
  • Must be comfortable presenting technical content to customer audiences.
    Must be able to document changes and decision-making process during implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully act as a trusted advisor, with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
  • Ability to deeply understand and apply technological solutions to business problems.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time-zones.
