Perspectium today announced it has received certification of its integration with ServiceNow. Certification by ServiceNow signifies that Perspectium’s Replicator for ServiceNow has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration interoperability, security and performance. The certification also ensures best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of the Replicator integration with ServiceNow.

ServiceNow administrators and operations managers use Replicator for ServiceNow to replicate and synchronize ServiceNow production data, in near-real-time, with ServiceNow instances, other SaaS and on-premise applications as well as external data stores, including MySQL, MS_SQL and Oracle 11g.

“Unlike a typical point-to-point data base replication tool, Replicator is a cloud service that utilizes an enterprise message bus and provides a flexible publish and subscribe framework to propagate ServiceNow data objects”, said David Loo, Founder and CEO of Perspectium. “Enabling a ‘publish once, subscribe everywhere’ capability greatly simplifies the data replication process, which is critical to DevOps teams.”

Common use cases for Replicator include:

  • Keeping production data (people, places, things) synchronized with other ServiceNow instances
  • Maintaining production data integrity with external databases for reporting and business intelligence
  • Lowering the number, and cost, of managing complex point-to-point data integrations
  • Reducing the frequency and complexity of instance cloning
